63 days to Election Day Tuesday, November 3

Take Action

Most people in Ward 3 do not know there is a town council race on the ballot.

A food drive under the Clarkstown Democrats tent. Most weekends look about like this.
  1. Two minutes

Check that you are registered, and that you are in Ward 3.

Confirm your address, your district and your polling place. If you have moved inside Clarkstown, your ward may have changed with you.
  2. Five minutes

Tell three neighbors about this race.

A neighbor who knows the race exists is worth more than a mailer they throw out.

Send them this page, or say it at the mailbox.

  3. Ten minutes

Put a sign in your yard.

Signs tell the street this race is happening. Ward 3 has 21,613 residents and one council seat. We will drop a sign off.
  4. Whatever you can

    Chip in.

A $25 donation is roughly one lawn sign in the ground.
  5. One page

    Take a palm card.

One page, front and back. Print it, keep it in the car, or hand it to somebody at the door.
  6. An hour once

    Come knock doors with us.

You go out with someone experienced, you get a script, and you are never sent out alone. Two hours covers about sixty doors.

Before any of this counts

You must be registered in Ward 3. The New York deadline is October 24, and moving inside Clarkstown can move you across a ward line.
