Sustainability
“Halt reckless overdevelopment that threatens our environment and quality of life.”

Ward 3 is the bottom of Clarkstown.
Ward 3 runs along the Orangetown line and takes in parts of four hamlets: Central Nyack, West Nyack, Nanuet, and a piece of Spring Valley. No hamlet sits entirely inside it. 21,613 people live here.
The Palisades Center is in West Nyack. The town cut its taxable value from $578 million to $300 million. A corporation now pays a smaller share of the property tax here, and Ward 3 homeowners pay a larger one. The warehouse plan on Route 303 would put 342 diesel trucks a day on this ward’s eastern edge.
